Alcohol is often used in conventional aftershave lotions to disinfect the skin. The disadvantage of alcohol in aftershave is that it dries out the skin and can increase redness.

The hyaluronic acid soothes redness, accelerates the healing of minor shaving injuries and moisturises irritated skin.
